2. Table banking and saving’s program.

- In 2018, PLI-K introduced the idea of table banking to the women who had undergone successfully trainings for six months; this was in a bid to help the women put into practice what they learnt. The women agreed to form a self-help group so they can be accountable to each other- With the leadership of PLI-K, the women formed WISDON MUMS SELF HELP GROUP which started with a membership of 25 who had been trained successfully with a monthly contribution of Ksh.100 each. The revolving fund grew to Ksh.300 each in a period of 6month. With this motivation, the women were eager to do even better in the subsequent years, through the leadership of PLI-K, they manage to secure a loan of Ksh.100, 000 from Women Enterprise Fund (it’s a credit facility offered by the government to support stable and legit women groups). To this day, they are receiving a credit facility of Ksh.450, 000 which has helped them stabilize their businesses.
